Considered a single of Sweden’s most famed cooks, he transforms uncooked elements into great cuisine only through the use of fireplace, ash, soot and smoke – no fuel or electric power allowed. As of Aug 2020, Katarina was still married to Niklas Ekstedt. Her husband Niklas is a renowned figure who is a chef and a restaurant owner born on November 28th, 1978 in Järpen, Sweden. It was not long before Niklas established his career in the culinary industry after he attended Sweden’s gastronomic high schools in Racklöfska.
Gaining a Michelin star in 2013, the restaurant continues to be one of the top gastronomic destinations in Sweden.
